Versatile Aussies Since
1972

That First Aussie
Cobblestone, A serious hobby kennel, now celebrates three and a half
decades
of living with a family of Aussies that started with one little
black tri
bitch pup named Babe. A puppy so unique and intelligent that she
skyrocketed
her way from being the "pet" in a household of show ring Dobermans
to being
the main attraction. Babe finished her ASCA championship with three
5 point
majors with BOB's at a young age then went on to her CD with three
HIT's. Her
great enthusiasm for life was never more apparent than when she was
allowed
into a pen with cattle. Her pedigree was one half Flintridge and one
half Las
Rocosa, a cross that was seldom seen in the early 1970's. Babe
graced our
lives for 16 years and she lives on with us today in the pedigree of
every
pup at Cobblestone.
(Today)
Today we strive for perfection and choose to follow the "blueprint"
set
forth by the ASCA breed standard. We are proud of our generations of
AKC and
ASCA breed ring champions, but also believe there should be "balance
in all
things". Our goals for perfection include vibrant health, longevity,
stable
temperaments and those original unique traits that made this breed
so desirable
to so many. Keeping the image of the "ideal" Aussie in mind is our
way of
giving back to this breed the joy we take from it.
Cobblestone Aussies frolic and play on eight acres with a scenic
view of the
Great Smokey Mountains. Located one mile off I-40 on the eastern end
of
Knoxville, Tennessee.
